How to use database

 

In the database you can search with MS Excel "Search" (Ctrl+F) and
"AutoFilter" (Data/Filter/AutoFilter) functions.

 

Example:

The content of columns:

A – Family name

B – First name

C – Title (baron, count etc.)

D – Year of the Diet (or relevant period)

E – Lower House (a) / Upper House (f)

F – Function at the Diet

       1 – High dignitary of the country or the royal court

       2 – Keeper of the Crown

       3 – Lord Lieutenant (supremus comes)

       4 – Prelate

       5 – Magnate (extra officio)

       6 – Member of the Royal Court of Justice or deputy of Croatia

       7 – Representative of the clergy in the Lower House

       8 – County deputy

       9 – Deputy of a royal free borough

       10 – Deputy of an absent magnate

       11 – Other (e. g. deputy of a free district)

       12 – Deputy of Croatia in the Upper House

G – Body or person represented

H – Date

I – Activity

J – Other function or other stage in his career

K – Source → see: Bibliography

L – Type of source (e. g. list of those present)

M – Other

N – Data entered by

O – Time of entering data

A – Vasy

B – Pál

C – Count

D – 1708–1715 = The first and the last year of the Diet

E – a = Member of the Lower House

F – 8 = County deputy

G – Deputy of Vas County

H – The source refers to data from 1714

I – He was present at the Diet

J – He was vice comes of Vas County
